About this website
The Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture, abbreviated NACCIMA, is the umbrella organization for chambers of commerce in Nigeria, with its national secretariat in Lagos. Founded in 1960, NACCIMA serves as the apex private sector body uniting over sixty city and regional chambers of commerce across Nigeria, including the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry founded in 1888, the Abuja Chamber of Commerce, the Kano Chamber of Commerce and the Port Harcourt Chamber of Commerce. NACCIMA represents the interests of the Nigerian private sector in policy dialogue with the federal government, the National Assembly, and the economic management team on issues including fiscal policy and tax administration, trade policy and border closure impacts, foreign exchange management, power sector reforms, infrastructure development, and agricultural transformation. NACCIMA organizes the annual Lagos International Trade Fair, one of the largest trade exhibitions in West Africa, publishes economic position papers, and facilitates business delegations to connect Nigerian enterprises with international trading partners.
