About this website

The Namibia Chamber of Commerce and Industry, abbreviated NCCI, is the leading private sector business organization in Namibia, with its national headquarters in Windhoek and branch offices in towns across all fourteen regions of the country. Founded in 1990 following Namibia's independence, NCCI represents hundreds of member businesses across all sectors of the Namibian economy including retail and wholesale trade, manufacturing, tourism, mining services, construction, financial services, fishing and agriculture. Namibia is an upper-middle-income country with a small but open economy heavily dependent on mineral exports, particularly diamonds, uranium and gold, and on revenue from the Southern African Customs Union. NCCI advocates on behalf of the business community on economic policy issues including tax reform, labor legislation, investment incentives, public procurement reform, skills development, and trade facilitation. The Chamber provides business registration assistance, trade information, networking events and training programs for member enterprises.
